unreliable storage device

just thought this was funny.

i was in a meeting the other day and we were talking about the logistics of a particular show. there is this very cool guy that works with me who has his own way about him (he always wears cowboy boots and those cowboy jeans...think "marlboro man" cool). when someone read to him about a particular thing that he would have to remember over the next week he said, "why don't you print that out for me. my brain is an unreliable storage device."

so right then and there i realized the expression i have looked for for so long to describe my memory. at best, my brain is an unreliable storage device.
